Located on the University of Oregon's campus in Eugene, Oregon, the goal was to rework the courtyard to be a better functioning space with an outdoor classroom and room for events. My redesign for the courtyard is based on sensory gardens. A relaxing place for students and the community to go to hangout or unwind. It features an outdoor classroom, a second floor balcony attached to the Hearth Cafe, a plant wall, more lighting, a water feature, firepits, seating, and one of the more defining features, a healing maze.
Made in Rhino, this is a built topography with an ADA ramp, it's an additive 1:12 switchback ramp that goes down to the base. The topography is measured to be 30' by 30'.
